Sleep study or polysomnography is a test to diagnose sleep disorders such as snoring, apnea, rapid leg movements during sleep, frequent awakenings, shallow sleep and other cases. It is carried out by the doctor prescription.
Our patients undergo such tests under the guidance of Israeli doctor in the sleep study laboratory of Assuta hospital.
The main symptoms of a sleep disorder are snoring, dry mouth in the morning, awakening at night.
Sometimes patients feel suffocation, frequent urination at night, unrefreshing sleep, fatigue and
drowsiness during the day.
Difficulty during falling asleep or insomnia is the most common sleep disorder. This condition manifests
itself as difficulty falling asleep, intermittent awakening, morning wakefulness or set of indicated states.
