Prof. Gideon Rechavi is a renowned physician and scientist specializing in hematology, pediatric hemato-oncology, and brain tumors. He is board-certified in three clinical fields: Pediatrics, Hematology, and Pediatric Hemato-Oncology.

At Sheba Medical Center, Prof. Rechavi founded and directed the Department of Pediatric Hematology, Oncology, and Bone Marrow Transplantation, establishing one of Israel’s leading centers for childhood cancer care.
In 2000, he founded Israel’s first Pediatric Oncology Hospice and Support Center. In 2003, he established the Sheba Cancer Research Center and the affiliated Genetic Laboratory, which he continues to lead today.
